The Town Church mission is consistent with that which was taught by Jesus Christ, to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey all that Jesus has commanded. This mission, ‘winning souls for Christ’, involves promoting personal faith and commitment to Christ, caring for people, serving the community and placing the heart of God in the heart of community.

About Us

Margaret Stone

Margaret is a retired teacher of History and Latin and has been a member of this church and of its choir since the early 1960s.

She has served as an elected Churchwarden or Churchwarden Emeritus over the past six years and is very keen that all members of our congregations should be united in encouraging each other, giving support where it is needed and findng new ways of spreading the Word to the community around us.

David Morgan

Passionate about making Jesus known through service, mission and by example.

He is also totally committed to his family and loves sport, particularly golf and rugby.

Paul Milbank

Paul is based at the Town Church but works in partnership with other churches and organisations to connect the Christian faith to the wider life of St Helier.

Paul particularly sympathises with people who would call themselves "spiritual" but have no time for organised religion or traditional notions of God and wants to encourage people like that to take a closer look at Jesus - you might be surprised at how much you agree with what he has to say! He is also almost certain that there is no such thing as a perfect church but is encouraged by the many people at the Town Church who are hoping and working to become an authentic Christian community.

Marie Goddard

Verger and Youth Leader
Marie has been the leader for our Sunday School groups, Early Birds and Kingfishers for four years and is also our Verger.

Marie is passionate about Youth ministry, especially in connecting with the local youth of the parish.  Her key drive is to help our younger generation realise that they are never alone in any situation and will always have someone to trust and confide in with Jesus.
